The vase from the Haoto collection was created in collaboration between the Květná 1794 glassworks and Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.
The common denominator of the entire series is a clean cylindrical shape and a unique detail: a delicate imprint of leaf veins on the bottom of each piece, giving each piece its own completely unique motif. This natural detail fully unfolds in the play of light, transforming the everyday use of glass into a contemplative experience.
The Haoto collection, whose name evokes the sound of leaves in Japanese, combines the subtle beauty of hand-blown thin-walled glass with Kuma’s philosophy of calm and harmony. The result is a piece of glass that is both technically perfect and timeless, sensitively connecting nature with everyday life.
The wider vase is intended for ikebana-style compositions and creates space for arrangements that highlight the harmony between nature and glass.
